Kabul (Kubha News)- Manizha Sediqi, a women\u2019s rights activist, has been released from Taliban custody after six months in prison, according to a source who spoke to Kubha News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sediqi, detained on charges related to a protest against women\u2019s rights violations, returned to her family in Kabul today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was held without a court order, and concerns were raised about her treatment and health in prison. Last week, Sediqi appeared in a Taliban-organized press conference from inside the prison, addressing her health but denying the charges against her and demanding her release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While the Taliban recently released some journalists and civil activists for Eid, there\u2019s still no information on the fate of Ezatullah Zwab, a journalist detained a month ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
