London (Kubha News) – Ahmad Zia Siraj, the former head of ANDS, emphasized the difficulty in claiming friendship with Pakistan without recognizing the Durand Line during a speech at the opening of a new Afghan political movement in London.

Siraj criticized decisions made in Ashraf Ghani’s government, stating they were individual, exacerbating the gap between the government and the people. He highlighted Afghanistan’s transformation into a hub for terrorist groups following the withdrawal of US and NATO forces.

In his speech, Siraj revealed, “Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, Al-Shabaab, and other regional and extra-regional groups have established themselves in Afghanistan in collaboration with the [Taliban] government, working towards goals beyond Afghanistan.”

This marks the first acknowledgment by a former Afghan official of the presence of Boko Haram and Al-Shabaab in Afghanistan.

Siraj also denounced the legitimacy of the Taliban government, stating that any contracts signed with this regime are not valid.
