Kabul (Kubha News) – Tensions escalate as the Taliban set a deadline for Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, demanding the evacuation of his residence and office by tomorrow morning at eight o’clock. The standoff arises from negotiations over land and housing contracts between the Taliban and Hekmatyar’s Hizb-e-Islami party.

While the Taliban is open to extending the contract for two years, Hekmatyar insists on a 50-year agreement, leading to the current impasse. Sources reveal that the Ministry of Defense has no objections to Hekmatyar’s land use, but certain factions within the Taliban aim to leverage government land as a means of pressure, citing dissatisfaction with Hekmatyar’s stance.

In response, the Secretariat of Hezb-e-Islami denies the severity of the siege, stating that negotiations are underway and that Hekmatyar has initiated the process of vacating the premises in compliance with the Ministry of Justice’s request.

Hekmatyar is reportedly instructed to relocate to Wazir Akbar Khan until further notice.

After the fall of Kabul, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar has repeatedly voiced his grievances to the family members of Maulvi Nasrullah Mansour, believed to wield considerable influence within the Taliban.

According to a reliable source, Hekmatyar has filed complaints with Pakistan’s ambassador in Kabul concerning Fateh Zawak, Minister of Water and Electricity Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, former governor of Kabul province Maulvi Abdul Rahman Mansour, and Taj Mir Javad, the first deputy of Taliban intelligence, alleging that they are causing issues for members of Hizb-e-Islami.

Hekmatyar stands accused of the murder of Maulvi Nasrullah Mansour, a prominent figure in the Islamic movement, whose members now occupy significant positions within the Taliban government.
