Bangkok (Kubha News) – Afghanistan suffered a defeat against Iran in the first futsal match of the Asian Cup.
The first futsal match of the AFC took place today, between the national futsal teams of Afghanistan and Iran in Thailand, ending with a score of 3-1 in favor of the Iranian national futsal team.
The Afghan national futsal team is playing in Group D of this cup against Bahrain, Iran, and Kuwait.
Afghanistan will face Kuwait in their second match of this cup next Sunday.
Afghanistan Football Federation states that if the national team achieves victories against Bahrain and Kuwait in the next two matches, they will advance to the knockout stage of the Futsal Asian Cup.
The futsal competitions of the AFC will continue in Thailand until May 28th.
