Kabul (Kubha News): Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the leader of Hezb-e-Islami, presented a series of recommendations to the Taliban in his Eid message and urged them to change their position towards the United States.
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar stated that Afghanistan’s airspace is still occupied, and if the United States does not stop this, their embassy should be surrounded and closed, and all American personnel, including embassy staff, should be expelled from Afghanistan.
Hekmatyar also strongly criticized the American dollar aid packages, stating that Afghans believe these packages are the price for buying Afghanistan’s airspace.
“The American dollar packages, which are actually poison packages with evil intentions and will behind them, must be returned. Accepting them is neither permissible by our religion nor our faith and honor. Afghans and the world believe that these packages are the price for selling the country’s airspace.”
Hekmatyar emphasized that there is still a serious threat to Afghanistan, and to prevent this threat, popular resistance must be prepared, and the weapons collected from the people should be returned to them.
The leader of Hezb-e-Islami said that government officials should be elected based on the people’s wishes, and a council should be formed to make final decisions on all issues.
“Afghanistan needs a credible, representative council that represents the will of the people, the highest and final decision-making authority on all national issues and has individual powers for decision-making.”
These recommendations by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar come as the Taliban announced the dissolution of his Party, and he was forced to leave his former residence by the Ministry of Justice last week.
