Masoud Andarabi: Taliban are imposing “Pashtunizm” on people

Kabul (Kubha News) – Masoud Andarabi, former Minister of Interior, says that the Taliban are promoting “Pashtunizm” with the Turbon (Langota), and they are imposing it on people, while Ashraf Ghani, the former President, was doing such with the tie.

Masoud Andarabi, in an audio tape circulating on social media, argues that such efforts to prioritize Pashtun interests over other ethnic groups are not only unacceptable but also harmful to the unity and development of the country.

Andarabi states that bigotry is unacceptable, and the new generation of Afghanistan will not allow bigots to govern.

He also considers Ali Ahmad Jalali as someone with a “Taliban-leaning” tendency and says it is no longer acceptable for Pashtuns to be at the forefront of power while deputies are from other ethnicities.

He announces the launch of a political movement called the “Future Foundation of Afghanistan” against the Taliban in this tape.

Masoud Andarabi served as the Minister of Interior in the government of Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the former president, and was dismissed from this position in March 2021.
