Dushanbe (Kubha News) – Moscow has imposed restrictions on the travel of Tajikistan citizens to Russia.

In a statement from the Tajikistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was mentioned that Sirojiddin Muhriddin, the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, conveyed to Grigoryev, the Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan, that in recent weeks Russia has prevented Tajik citizens from entering the country.

Mr. Muhriddin stated that a significant number of Tajik citizens have reported to the Tajikistan Foreign Ministry about Russian border guards obstructing their entry into Russia.

This follows the attack on a concert hall in Moscow last month, after which Russia arrested and prosecuted over ten Tajik citizens on charges of organizing and carrying out the attack.

In the latest development, Russian security forces also detained a Tajik citizen on Friday on allegations of involvement in the Moscow attack.
