Kabul (Kubha News): Due to recent heavy rains and severe floods in various provinces of Afghanistan, about 150 homes have collapsed, and hundreds of acres of farmland have been destroyed.
These floods occurred in various districts of Helmand, Logar, Kunduz, and Kapisa provinces after heavy rains, causing significant financial losses, according to officials.
Hamidullah Sadiqi, Logar’s Information Directorate, told the media that a woman has died and a child has been injured in floods in Kharwar district of this province.
According to Sadiqi, simultaneously in Azra district of this province, more than 50 domestic animals have died, and about 50 homes and 100 acres of farmland have been destroyed.
On the other hand, the head of natural disasters in Kapisa province says that as a result of recent floods, nearly 90 homes and 200 acres of farmland in six districts of this province have been destroyed.
Bakhtar News Agency under Taliban control, citing local authorities in Kunduz and Helmand provinces, reports that rains and floods in these provinces have financially harmed local people and have destroyed dozens of acres of land in some areas.
