Kabul (Kubha News)- In a recent official statement, the Ministry of Justice under the Taliban regime has officially outlawed all forms of party activity within Afghanistan, cautioning that violators will face legal repercussions.

The statement released by the Taliban Ministry of Justice asserts, “Any activity conducted under the banner of a party is deemed illegal in Afghanistan,” adding a stern warning that repeat offenders will be subject to both legal prosecution and Shari’ah law.

Under the new guidelines, the Taliban has suspended the activities of social organizations that previously operated freely during the republic’s rule. The Taliban government has specified that only charities and associations licensed by the Ministry of Justice can operate within set parameters.

Charities and social organizations operating without official permission have been put on notice, with the Ministry of Justice threatening decisive legal action against those who persist in unauthorized activities.

This prohibition on party engagement comes amidst the recent ban imposed on Hizb-e-Islami, led by Gulbudin Hekmatyar, from political, media, and social engagements. The group has been compelled to relocate its headquarters from Darul Alaman to Wazir Akbar Khan in compliance with the government’s directives.
